Dr. Michael Mangum, President, CEO

Dr. Michael Anthony Mangum is a distinguished Christian leader, visionary, and prolific author, whose nearly five decades of ministry have profoundly impacted the Christian community. A native of Wendell, North Carolina, Dr. Mangum graduated from C.V. Whitley Consolidated High School in 1970. He furthered his education with a degree in Business from North Carolina Central University, complemented by additional coursework at Wake Technical School. In 2019, he was honored with an Honorary Doctorate in Theology from Bible Faith Global University, acknowledging his significant contributions and nearly 50 years of leadership and pastoral experience.

Since 1975, Dr. Mangum, alongside his wife, Dr. Linda Mangum, has co-founded several churches and has been the pastor of Transformation Church International in Burlington, North Carolina. He currently serves as the President and Co-founder of Impact Christian College and Leadership Institute (ICCLI), an institution committed to nurturing future Christian leaders.

Beyond his pastoral duties, Dr. Mangum is a prolific author, having written seven influential books on faith, spirituality, and the Christian life. His notable works include “About My Father’s Business,” “He Walks With Me,” “God’s Giftings To The Church,” “Spiritual Gifts,” “The Power Of Effective Prayer,” “Healing From Above,” and “A God To Glorify,” with an updated edition of “About My Father’s Business.” His writings have inspired and guided countless individuals in their spiritual journeys.

Dr. Mangum and his wife have built a strong, loving family, blessed with three sons, eleven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Dr. Linda Mangum, Chancellor

Dr. Linda Mangum, along with her husband Dr. Michael Mangum, holds the positions of Chancellor and Co-Founder at Impact Christian College and Leadership Institute (ICCLU). Together, they are also the Co-Founders of the Mike and Linda Mangum Facebook Live platform.

Dr. Mangum earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with honors. She furthered her education with a Master of Arts in Theology from Bible Faith Global University and received her Doctorate of Theology from the same institution. Additionally, she received an honorary doctorate degree from Bible Faith Global University.

With a wealth of experience spanning over thirty years, Dr. Mangum has been actively involved in ministry and co-pastored at The Worship Center International Church d/b/a Transformation Church International in Burlington, NC. Her ministry expertise lies in praise and worship as well as evangelism. Additionally, she is the author of the transformative book titled “I’m Good Enough.” She has spoken at conferences, seminars, churches. educational, and business settings.

Dr. Mangum founded and currently serves as the President of Xtraaid, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting single parents. She serves on several ministerial boards.

In her personal life, Dr. Mangum takes pride in being a mother of three sons, a grandmother to eleven grandchildren, and a great-grandmother to four great-grandchildren.

Bishop, Dr. Fredrick Hopskins

Dr. Bishop Frederick Hopkins, a Washington, NC native, is married to Senior Pastor Hattie Richardson White Hopkins and together they are the visionary founders of Redeeming Faith International Ministries, Inc. Dr. Hopkins established a Traveling Evangelistic Ministry in 1981 before founding Faith & Truth World Outreach Center in 1985, a Bible Training Center, and global outreach hub in Washington, NC.

For 15 years, Dr. Hopkins held the position of NC State Representative for Faith Christian Fellowship Int’l, Inc. based in Tulsa, OK. He obtained a Certificate of Merit from Rhema Bible Training School under the tutelage of the late Kenneth E. Hagin. In 2006, he was conferred with a Doctor of Ministry degree from New Wine School of The Bible.

J’Omega  Walker, J.D.

J’Omega  Walker  is a North Carolina native who earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and her J.D. from North Carolina Central University School of Law. She is currently a licensed attorney serving all of the Carolinas. J’Omega enjoys working with others to provide support necessary to achieve their goals. Prior to attending law school, J’Omega worked with adults and children diagnosed with mental and developmental disabilities. Through those experiences she developed a hunger for helping people from all walks of life by teaching them ways to overcome difficulties, embrace a positive perspective of the world around them, and use the knowledge they have to advance their future.

She is married and has two children. She places God at the forefront of all that does. She strives to be the person that God created her to be. She requires nothing more and will accept nothing less.

Ruben Thrasher

Ruben Thrasher is a native of Asheville, NC. He graduated from T.C. Roberson High School. He has over 30 years of experience in the manufacturing industry. Ruben has honed his expertise in all facets of management and operations within his family’s businesses and ten years of church administration. Additionally, he has contributed his financial acumen as the treasurer on multiple company boards. His dedication and comprehensive skill set have been instrumental in driving success and growth across various organizations throughout his career. Ruben is married with two sons.

Dr. Vivian Barnette, Ph.D., HSP-P, ABP

Dr. Vivian Barnette received her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University. She is a Licensed and Board Certified Psychologist. In 2023, Barnette began working for the VA Health Care Center where she provides mental health services to veterans. Prior to this position, she was the Executive Director of Counseling Services at NC A&T State University for almost two decades. She has also served as an adjunct professor, teaching graduate courses on mental health at several institutions. In her clinical work, Barnette uses various theoretical orientations and assessments for managing psychological concerns in a trauma informed manner.

Kelsee Mangum

Kelsee Mangum is a dedicated marketing student with a passion for creativity and strategic thinking. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Marketing at University of North Carolina GreensboroUniversity, Kelsee has a keen interest in understanding consumer behavior and developing innovative marketing strategies. fresh perspective and enthusiasm for the field enable her to provide valuable insights and direction in marketing strategies.

Leasha Ogle

Leasha Ogle, a native of Asheville, NC, holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a Master of Science Degree in Human Resources. With over 13 years of experience in Human Resources, she has worked in both nonprofit and for-profit sectors, in addition to serving as an independent HR consultant. Currently, Leasha holds the role of Chief Human Resources & Communications Officer at NovusWay Ministries, while also volunteering her expertise as a board member and consultant for various nonprofit organizations. Through her endeavors, Leasha has cultivated a deep interest in servant leadership and supporting individuals in their personal and professional development. She is married and has three children.
