Dr. Mangum is a distinguished figure in the realm of Christian education and leadership, known for his unwavering dedication to spreading the teachings of the gospel and empowering individuals to lead lives of purpose and impact. Born and raised in Wendell, North Carolina, Michael embarked on a journey of faith and service that would define his life’s work.
After graduating from High School in 1970, Dr. Michael pursued a Business Degree at North Carolina Central University, with additional coursework at Wake Technical School, expanding his knowledge and skills in preparation for his future endeavors.
Throughout his illustrious career, Michael has served as a beacon of light and inspiration to many, holding the esteemed title of Senior Pastor for over five decades. His passion for ministry and unwavering commitment to his congregation have touched countless lives and transformed communities for the better.
In addition to his pastoral duties, Michael is a prolific author, having penned seven books that delve into various aspects of faith, spirituality, and the Christian walk. His works include titles such as “About My Father’s Business,” “He Walks With Me,” “God’s Giftings To The Church,” “Spiritual Gifts,” “The Power Of Effective Prayer,” “Healing From Above,” and “A God To Glorify,” with an updated edition of “About My Father’s Business.” His writings have inspired and guided countless individuals on their own spiritual journeys.
In recognition of his outstanding contributions to the field of theology and ministry, Michael was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Theology from Bible Faith Global University, a testament to his profound impact on the spiritual landscape.
Michael’s role as a spiritual leader goes beyond the confines of a traditional pastor; he has been confirmed as an Apostle in the Body of Christ, a position of great honor and responsibility that showcases his deep connection to the divine and his unwavering commitment to serving God’s people.
Alongside his beloved wife, Linda Williams Mangum, Michael has raised three wonderful boys, instilling in them the values of faith, compassion, and service to others. Together, they form a strong foundation of love and support that sustains Michael in his mission to spread the word of God and uplift those in need.
As the President of Impact Christian College and Leadership Institute (ICCLI), Michael Anthony Mangum continues to inspire and empower individuals to lead lives of purpose, faith, and service, leaving an indelible mark on all who have the privilege of crossing his path.
In His personal life, Dr. Mangum takes pride in being a father of three sons, a grandfather to eleven grandchildren, and a great-grandfather to four great-grandchildren.
